Job description

Job Description
This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you.
Job Details
  • This is a 1099 Contract position.  Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day.  Pay is based on the number of calls completed.  Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
  • You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.  
  • Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
  • You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
  • You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
  • Tickets are run Monday through Friday.  You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls. 
  • You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
  • Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers.  They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning.  You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.
