Job description

The Assembler will test; trouble shoot and replace parts on servers and computers for diagnosis and repair.

Main Responsibility:

    • Inspect, test, and diagnose
    • Replace parts as needed
    • Conduct and analyze stress tests
    • Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool
    • Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing

Basic Skills Required

    • Know basic assembly
    • Know how to assemble components to make electronics function
    • Run and understand testing diagnostics
    • Understand basic error codes
    • Able to troubleshoot common errors and issues
    • Motivated to solve problems

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 6 months or more of experience in a repair area
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers with coordination to constantly use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.
