Job description

Position Description:  Maintaining accurate records of inventory.  This includes handling of all paperwork.  Verification of all received and shipped product and ensures that the inventory movements are accounted for in the company’s warehouse management inventory software program. This position will also assist in the warehouse when needed.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Responsible for accurately receiving and identifying materials at receipt and in the warehouse

·         Must ensure inventory accuracy at all times

·         Must be able to use a computer proficiently

·         Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel

·         Reconciles inventories to records and makes adjustments when necessary

·         Scheduling pickups and deliveries

·         Adhere to Good Distribution Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program

·         Assist with accounts receivable invoicing, if needed

·         Answering phone calls

·         Must promote teamwork and foster professionalism with all employees, internal and external customers

·         Ordering facility supplies

·         Coordinating customer services

·         Assist with on-site compliance requirements

·         Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

·         High school diploma or GED

·         Understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment

·         High level of organization skills and ability to multi-task/prioritize

·         Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports

·         Dependable attendance

·         Hard worker and team player
