Job description

JOB TITLE: Secret Cleared Computer-Aided Design Specialist JOB LOCATION: Eglin Air Force Base, FL WAGE RANGE*: $70k to $75k JOB NUMBER: 26-00855 JOB DESCRIPTION: The Computer-Aided Design Specialist shall support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) Modeling, Analysis, and Tools Support (SEMATS) contract at Eglin Air Force Base . Essential Job Functions: Create, modify, and maintain 3-D models of aircraft, aircraft suspension equipment, aircraft stores, and various tooling and fixtures used in the aircraft-store certification process. Utilize Siemens NX software to create and modify 3-D structured surface and volume images.

Translate various types of CAD files into NX format. Use reverse engineering techniques to take 3-D scan data and reproduce items using NX software to produce solid models for various engineering customers. Scan items on site to capture the shape of objects of interest.

Translate various CAD files such as Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor into NX format for modification and/or storage.
