• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, establishing a clear understanding of their unique needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with coping tools and strategies to enhance their psychological resilience.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to monitor progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care and refer clients to additional resources as needed.

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Relieve Trauma Counseling Center, you will work closely with a diverse population, including individuals suffering from mental health disorders, those experiencing acute crises, and clients grappling with long-term psychological challenges. Our patient-focused approach emphasizes cultural competence and responsiveness, ensuring that each client's background and experiences are respected and integrated into their therapeutic journey.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience in a mental health setting, delivering high-quality counseling services.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in conducting culturally responsive therapy sessions and understanding the nuances of working with diverse client groups.
• Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and computer applications that support efficient clinical documentation and client communication.
