Job description

Job Summary:
Teza Technologies is seeking a Core Java Developer for their real-time, low-latency trading platform. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting core components of the trading platform, as well as troubleshooting production issues and maintaining trading systems.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support core components of the real-time trading platform: market data, order management, exchange connectivity, and execution infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across a globally distributed trading infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Java and C++ trading systems
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years experience in a front-office trading environment building low-latency systems using Core Java
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Network Programming (TCP, UDP), binary protocols
• Experience with Unix/Linux Development
• Experience with multi-threading and lock-free data structures
• Experience with some subset of: Market Data, Order Management System, FIX, Algo Trading, Smart Order Router, DMA, and ITCH
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred:
• Experience with C++
• Experience with Python for tooling, analytics, or data pipelines
• Experience with Grid Computing / Big Data
• Experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
