Fuels System Engineer - Level 4

We are looking for an experienced Fuels System Engineer - Level 4 in Everett, WA.
The selected candidate will create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports for fuel systems.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports for fuel systems.
  • Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures for mechanical systems to meet requirements.
  • Investigate fuel system failures and recommend remedial actions to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks to support certification and aircraft delivery schedules.
  • Confer with engineers, suppliers, and external partners to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Provide technical guidance to teams on fuel system components and on integrating fuel systems with other aircraft systems.

Multiple positions available.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering discipline, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience as an engineer analyzing fuel systems equipment and performing large transport category aircraft certification processes, and must have at least one (1) year of experience with each of the following:
  • Recording certification flight test procedures;
  • Conducting systems safety assessments per the Federal Aviation Administration regulation 14 CFR § 25.1309;
  • Developing testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to calculate system performance; and
  • Designing sub-systems and components to meet performance criteria.

Hybrid option to telecommute up to one day per week may be available.
