Position Title: Elections Support Specialist (Desktop)
Location: Doral, FL 33172
Duration: 5 months
Work Schedule: 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM | including long shifts as needed
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Information System | Section:- Desktop
Nature of Work:
  • This is an entry-level, technical work in the delivery, installation, setup, testing, and maintenance of computer hardware and software components.
  • Seasonals in this classification are responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware/software and providing department-wide end-user support.
Illustrative Tasks:
  • Install computer hardware, including personal computers, thin client terminals, printers, telephone handsets, and other components.
  • Installation of various computer software.
  • Isolate the nature of system failures or PC problems and utilize diagnostic utilities to troubleshoot problems.
  • Provides department-wide end-user support and service regarding hardware and software problems.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of the current principles and practices of computer systems technology
  • Basic knowledge of the current research and trends of new computer-related technologies

  • Troubleshooting skills for network problems.
