Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the credit union's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, endpoints, telecom systems, and peripheral devices, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and Windows-related issues across branch and corporate environments
  • Provide end-user support for technical issues, including software applications, system access, and hardware functionality (onsite, remote, and phone support)
  • Perform system configuration, installation, and testing for workstations, servers, telecom equipment, and other infrastructure components
  • Administer and monitor backup procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and recoverability
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, equipment, configurations, warranties, and support processes
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents within established SLA timelines, ensuring timely ticket completion and service quality
  • Install, configure, and deploy software updates and new applications across the organization
  • Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment, including PCs, laptops, printers, phones, and other peripheral devices
  • Work with cybersecurity tools and follow established security practices to support endpoint and infrastructure protection
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, security, and efficiency
  • Assist with planning and implementation of system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and technology initiatives
  • Ability to travel to multiple branch locations (9 branches) as needed to provide onsite technical and infrastructure support
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 30 lbs as part of regular job duties

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of technical experience in IT, preferably in a financial institution
  • Progressive experience supporting PC/LAN hardware, software, operating systems, and communication platforms (including Windows, Linux, and enterprise systems such as IBM AS400/iSeries)
  • Experience working within a ticketing system and managing requests in alignment with SLA expectations
  • Strong independent troubleshooting skills with exposure to infrastructure, networking, and system support
  • Familiarity with telecom systems and supporting distributed branch environments is a plus
