Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems.   • Planning and maintaining project budget and schedule.
  • Planning and maintaining Manpower forecasts in relation to budget and schedule.
  • Planning and monitoring cash flow against cash expenses.
  • Establishing labor and productivity rates.
  • Identifying value added solutions and cost saving methods.
  • Pricing, tracking and managing change orders.
  • Identifying change orders and ensuring effective resolution.
  • Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
  • Documenting project issues/conditions.
  • Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
  • Submitting hours and cost codes.
  • Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
  • Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Preparing invoices.
  • Submitting O&M manuals.
  • Completing a comprehensive estimate.
  • Running a KPR (Key Project Review).
  • Developing a Safety Plan.
  • Running day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project.
  • Managing design development logs and criteria compliance matrix.
  • Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
  • Managing schedule updates.
  • Managing productivity reports.
  • Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.
  • Being a major participant in Project Kick Off Meeting (PKOM) process.
  • Assisting in Field Inspections / productivity tracking.
  • Gaining knowledge and assisting with the Materials Requisition System.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program)
  • 3+ years of experience with a Master of Science degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License, preferred
