Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Data Center Smart Hands Trainee to support the reliability and performance of critical IT infrastructure. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise-level hardware and networking technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment—ideal for individuals looking to launch a career in data center operations or IT infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Install & Maintain: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and structured cabling.
  • Ticket Management: Accurately track, update, and close service tickets in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Support hardware inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
  • Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC): Assist with installations, labeling, rack/stack, and connectivity during upgrades and deployments.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere to site security protocols and ensure proper documentation of all activities.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred)
  • Strong interest in IT infrastructure, networking, and hardware
