Position Overview

Cross Schools is seeking an innovative and engaging Middle School STEM/Robotics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on, project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, and robotics.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to equip students with critical thinking and design skills while fostering a love for discovery within a Christ-centered educational environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Teach middle school STEM and robotics courses using hands-on, inquiry-based instruction
  • Design and implement engaging, project-based learning experiences
  • Introduce students to foundational concepts in engineering, coding, robotics, and design thinking
  • Facilitate student collaboration through team-based challenges and competitions (e.g., robotics teams, STEM fairs)
  • Integrate technology and emerging tools into the curriculum
  • Differentiate instruction to support a variety of learners and skill levels
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped classroom/lab environment
  • Communicate regularly with students and families
