As a Lead Business Analyst, you will provide thought leadership and drive solution design for complex initiatives within Disability and Life Systems and Operational Support. You'll influence senior stakeholders, mentor team members, and champion best practices to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our business and customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Analysis & Requirements: Drive requirements gathering, scoping, and validation for multiple complex initiatives.
  • Solution Development: Oversee solution design, troubleshoot complex issues, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure alignment with business priorities, review test cases, and manage risk/audit requirements.
  • Project Support: Partner with PMs for planning and estimation; manage relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Change Management & Training: Oversee documentation, training, and communication strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion new methodologies, tools, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Mentorship: Guide and develop team members, providing feedback and leadership support.

What You Will Bring

  • 6+ years as a Business Analyst, including leadership on projects or initiatives.
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance - this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.
  • Degree/Diploma in Business/Systems Analysis, MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Business Analysis Certification, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management (or equivalent).
  • Expert knowledge of Disability and Group Life Claims systems
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and influence stakeholders
  • Passion for continuous improvement and user experience

The base salary for this position is between $68,400 - $113,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
