Job description

MANDEX currently has a need for an experienced Senior Network Engineer for CONUS to join our team in Charleston, SC, in a role responsible for senior-level LAN/WLAN/WAN network support, troubleshooting, configuration management, documentation, network performance, and regional/enterprise technical leadership for Defense Health Agency (DHA) networked facilities. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex LAN, WLAN, and WAN network issues. • Perform advanced installation, configuration, documentation, management, and troubleshooting of network communication equipment. • Demonstrate expert-level experience with routed, switched, and shared LAN environments. • Possess advanced experience with Cisco networking technologies. • Support and administer Windows-based network environments. • Utilize and manage Orion SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible. • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPN devices, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). • Perform network diagnostics, performance monitoring, and administration using industry-standard tools. • Demonstrate proficiency with networking protocols and technologies, including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Routing and switching, WAN connectivity, and IEEE 802.x standards.
• Possess experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Health Care Information Systems. • Experience with Zero Trust architectures and cybersecurity methodologies is highly desired. • Communicate effectively with Government officials, medical professionals, technical teams, and contractor personnel. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, technical degree, or related discipline with at least five years of directly related experience; or successful completion of a certified Technical or Vocational School with 10 years of directly related experience gained through progressively higher levels of complexity. Certification:
• IAM Level III, CCNP, CISSP Security Level:
• Must possess and be able to maintain a secuirty clearance. Travel Requirements:
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
• Selected candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record in accordance with MANDEX policy
