  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM 10:00 PM

Job Description:
  • Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.
  • Design, develop, analyze, test, evaluate and implement processes and technology insertions by applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design, operational efficiency and after-market services.
  • Monitor performance and support production systems to meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Translate engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts into practical applications throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Research emerging technologies and develop industrial engineering tools and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
  • Support the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into production processes and service operations.
  • Develop moderately complex models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for leadership.
  • Assist with research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, improve quality, and optimize large-scale systems integration and asset utilization.
  • Lead metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans related to productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality, including Lean+ events, 5S improvement plans, and special initiatives.

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, and/or production environment.

Preferred:
  • Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a team environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and lean principles.
  • Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
  • Proficient in structured problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
