Part-time, non-tenure track, for placement in Spring, Summer and/or Fall lecturer pool, assignments as needed, contingent on availability of funds and actual staffing requirements for East Hawaii (Hilo), West Hawaii (Kailua-Kona), and/or North Hawaii (Honokaa) campuses. Must be able to attend meetings and trainings on short notice as well as teach courses in person, as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Under general supervision, conduct lecture and as appropriate, laboratory courses in the discipline.
  2. May include instructional assignment involving distance education.
  3. Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught.
  4. Possible evening, weekend and off-campus assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. (a) Master's in Information & Computer Science;
  2. OR (b) Master's in Business with coursework in business computer applications;
  3. OR (c) Master's in Education Technology with coursework in computer applications;
  4. OR (d) Bachelor's in Information and Computer Science and 3 years of related work experience within the last 5 years;
  5. OR (e) Bachelor's in Business with coursework in business computer applications and 3 years of related work experience within the last 5 years;
  6. OR (f) Bachelor's in any field and 5 years of related work experience including training within the last 5 years;
  7. OR (g) Associate degree in Business with some coursework in business computer applications and 5 years of related work experience including training within the last 5 years;
  8. OR (h) 15 college credits in Business with some coursework in business computer applications and 7 years of related work experience including training within the last 5 years;
  9. OR (i) Master recognition by Business Community in computer applications and 10 years of related work experience including training within the last 5 years.
