Role Overview:

Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Meet agency-determined school readiness goals through the implementation of the established curriculum, development appropriate activities and assessments. Responsible for a safe, nurturing, and inviting environment for children and their families.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate of Arts/Science or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or closely related degree.
  • No prior experience is necessary.
    • Prefer experience in Head Start, daycare, or school setting.
    • Prefer Iowa State Licensure (may be required for some positions)
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites & Database system
  • Valid Iowa Driver's License & ability to be insured under agency policy
  • Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
