Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analysis / Quality Analysis Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting software delivery initiatives within a collaborative business and technology environment.

The intern will primarily focus on Business Analysis activities while also gaining exposure to Quality Analysis and software testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is designed to provide practical experience in requirements analysis, process documentation, stakeholder collaboration, testing support, and solution delivery.

The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the departmentโ€™s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, organized, and interested in learning how business needs are translated into technology solutions.

What You'll Do

Business Analysis Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

โ€ข ย  ย Support the creation and maintenance of user stories, process flows, and business documentation
โ€ข ย  ย Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements discussions
โ€ข ย  ย Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
โ€ข ย  ย Assist with documenting current and future state workflows
โ€ข ย  ย Support backlog refinement and requirements traceability activities
โ€ข ย  ย Collaborate with team members to clarify business needs and solution expectations
โ€ข ย  ย Help maintain project and requirements documentation repositories

Quality Analysis Responsibilities (Cross-Functional Exposure)

Experience

Additional Requirements and Qualifications

College level coursework (100 or higher) from an accredited institution is preferred. Management will evaluate college-level coursework individually to determine if it is applicable to the position and relevant to the required skills. Knowledge such as accounting, general administrative principles, communications,ย marketing, personnel, finance, training, business and other non-scientific fields.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
