Graham is actively recruiting for an IT Application Architect supporting the Corporate Services division. Reporting to the Director - Architecture and IT Implementation Director, the incumbent defines and governs the organizationโ€™s technology architecture strategy to ensure technology investments align with business priorities, strengthen operational performance, and support future growth.

The role advises business and technology leaders; develops architecture roadmaps, standards, and governance practices; and provides leadership across business architecture, applications, and integrations to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise goals.

 

This role is based in our Calgary Corporate Office, with hybrid work schedule

 

Your Role in Building What Matters โ€“ From Office to Site 

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Create multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and corporate strategy.
  • Provide architectural oversight across programs, projects, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Review and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities, risks, and innovation.
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate business goals into technology capabilities and roadmaps.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish architecture best practices, mentor technical teams, and drive continuous improvement across the organization

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • 10 years of progressive experience delivering IT solutions
