Job description

About the Role The Department of General Education invites applications for contract lecturer positions in the area of Numeracy and Scientific Literacy, commencing July 2026. The Department of General Education delivers the General Education program within all of Mount Royal's baccalaureate degrees. The General Education program is organized around four thematic clusters.

Numeracy and Scientific Literacy Successful candidates will be invited to lecture in one of the following foundation-level courses: GNED 1101 - Scientific & Mathematical Literacy for the Modern World; GNED 1003 - Innovation. The aims of those courses taught in the Numeracy and Scientific Literacy cluster are to "develop an understanding of the nature and methods of subjects in the natural sciences, health sciences and computer science, as well as providing essential mathematical skills needed for study at the post-secondary level". Qualifications Qualifications include a minimum of a Masters Degree in Science, Mathematics or Engineering - with a Ph.D
