Description

The Industrial Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing the overall sales strategy for the Industrial segment, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. This role oversees key customer relationships, develops high-performing sales teams, and ensures alignment between sales, technical services, and vendor partners. The Director serves as a strategic leader and solution provider, focused on delivering long-term value to customers while strengthening the company's position in the industrial marketplace.


Compensation
Base salary plus performance-based bonus/incentive compensation. Additional benefits include vehicle allowance, fuel card, cell phone, computer, safety equipment, and standard company benefits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue and profit targets for the Industrial segment
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Industrial sales team; establish performance expectations and accountability measures
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key Industrial accounts and decision makers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion within existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
  • Partner with Industrial Services and Technical teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and increase share of wallet
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to optimize product offerings, pricing strategies, and profitability
  • Oversee CRM utilization to ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and customer engagement tracking
  • Establish pricing strategies and approve proposals to align with company profitability goals
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through coordinated internal support and service delivery
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Support and execute corporate initiatives, goals, and strategic priorities

Requirements


  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in Industrial with leadership responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of industrial lubricants, reliability services, and related equipment/applications
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and profitability targets
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and team development
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market opportunities into revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Solid understanding of pricing, contracts, and commercial terms

Travel
