Job description

Charger Logistics is looking for a Parts Coordinator who has experience with managing the parts for trucks and trailers. We are looking for a candidate with previous work experience and strong work ethics to join the company as a Parts Coordinator.

Shift timings:

8am-5pm- Sat-Sun

1pm-10pm- Mon-Wed

Job Duties

  • Manage and track truck and trailer parts stock levels
  • Order new inventory as needed and transfer invoices to the accounts department
  • Work closely with Mechanics and Service Coordinators to assign parts and keep track of all issued parts
  • Enter repair and maintenance work into the company's database
  • Help in the daily planning of repair and maintenance work schedules
  • Enter repair and maintenance work into the company's database
  • Ensure timely service of company equipment, upholding truck and trailer compliance
  • Coordinate with the safety department to notify drivers of services due
  • Pick up parts from dealerships as needed
  • Ability to pick up and organize common parts within the shop.
  • Handle other shop-related tasks as they arise
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum one-year experience as Parts clerk or coordinator
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment
  • Heavy vehicle aftermarket and parts background
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Hard worker with a positive attitude
  • Willing to work extended hours and on weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office
