Job description

NOV is looking for a motivated technician to test, troubleshoot and repair all electronic and electro-mechanical rig surface equipment. Perform maintenance requirements on equipment set up and maintain all required repair records.

Responsibilities

Test equipment for the purpose of fault detection, identify failure criteria and discrepancies with all equipment.

Troubleshoot electronic devices and circuits to component level.

Reliably repair all equipment to spec. Read and understand engineering documentation.

Work with and understand circuit flow.

Work with AC and DC voltage, mA to A currents, data signals.

Must have strong understanding of computer processes, diagnostics, work with BIOS, installing programs.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Able to log, track and coordinate electronic data.

Able to use electronic test equipment.

Strong mechanical understanding

Able to assemble and disassemble all types of equipment.

Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Able to clean and paint equipment to include pressure washing, hand scrubbing and use of spray paint

Motivated, self-driven to accomplish goals

Job Requirements

Associate's Degree in Electronics /or technical degree with 3 years of working experience

Proven background in Electronic Repair

Self Starter that hits the ground running
