QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3 years experience in technology
  • Experience working in schools preferred
  • General network experience
  • A+ certification preferred
  • Experience in the MS Windows OS required
  • Experience with Microsoft networks

Strong consideration given to:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
To provide hardware and network support for all educational and organizational needs throughout the school district, which includes: (7 elementary schools, (1) middle school, and (1) administration center.
  • Training: successfully participate in training to update necessary skills for job functions.
  • Hardware:
    • Assist with maintaining an inventory of District hardware and related documentation manuals.
    • Provide ongoing technical support for staff.
  • Provide technical support to district personnel including, but not limited to, all hardware and software applications.
  • Network: Patching and basic network repairs
  • Basic phone configuration
  • Perform basic Chromebook repairs
  • Create users and reset passwords in Active Directory
  • Windows computer re-imaging and basic repairs
  • Keep abreast of new developments related to hardware, software and systems requirements.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve-month year with salary to be established by the Board of Education (Salary range: $45,000-$48,000)
