An established organization is seeking a Project Manager in Parsippany, NJ to lead multiple strategic initiatives across departments. This role focuses on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and driving milestones to completion in a collaborative IT environment.


About the Opportunity:




  • Shift: Day shift




  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid




Responsibilities:




  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic projects, including planning, tracking, and execution.




  • Manage milestones, issues, risks, and dependencies to keep initiatives on schedule and aligned to goals.




  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to maintain visibility, alignment, and effective communication.




  • Facilitate meetings, track follow-ups, and remove roadblocks to support project progress.




  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, vendor coordination, and governance activities while driving accountability across teams.




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.




  • 10+ years of experience managing IT initiatives, specifically in application development, COTS implementations, and integration projects.




  • Experience delivering customer-facing applications.




  • Strong experience managing large, complex projects.




  • Experience applying project management frameworks suited to project needs.




Desired Skills:




  • Experience with agile and iterative software development practices.




  • Familiarity with networking and infrastructure project components.




  • Experience managing and reporting team progress using project tracking tools and technology platforms.




  • Training or certifications in traditional project management and/or agile methodologies.
