We are seeking a mid-career Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology-driven projects across cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical and business acumen, capable of managing complex initiatives and delivering results aligned with organizational goals.

Core Responsibilities
  • Define project scope by translating business and technical requirements into actionable plans.
  • Develop project charters, schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish realistic timelines and milestones to track progress.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
  • Provide regular updates to Executive Leaders and project stakeholders through reports and meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively to prevent delays or scope creep.
  • Resolve issues efficiently to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Oversee system and user acceptance testing phases.
  • Align project goals with business strategy and technology roadmaps.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocations.
  • Stay current with project management tools and methodologies.
Skills & QualificationsTechnical & Business Acumen
  • Strong understanding of software development cycles, architecture, and enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business needs effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management processes
  • Experience with Process Mapping and Value Stream Mapping a plus
Certifications & Tools
  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, information systems or related field; project management and/or general business management, or equivalent related IT experience.
  • Seven or more years of project management experience preferred
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • PMP and Agile/Scrum preferred.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, burn down charts, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid position, based in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office, three days a week, with two days remote.
