Overview
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role is a great opportunity to build your technical skills by supporting survey projects through drafting, data processing, and coordination with field crews.
You'll work on a variety of projects while gaining exposure to both office and field operations, helping you develop a well-rounded understanding of the surveying process.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and support survey drawings and plan production, including ALTA/NSPS, boundary, and topographic surveys
  • Assist with drafting and data processing using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, or similar software
  • Work with survey data collected in the field to develop accurate and complete plan sets
  • Collaborate with field crews and project teams to support survey deliverables
  • Assist with general office tasks such as document preparation, plotting, and project documentation
  • Participate in field activities as needed to gain hands-on experience and support survey operations
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of project data and files

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Carlson design software experience
  • Experience supporting CAD functions within the survey/geospatial sector is preferred
  • High School diploma required
  • Associates or Bachelors in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, or other related field preferred
  • Willingness to work independently in the field, in varying weather conditions as needed, with strict adherence to operating procedures and safety policies
  • Valid Driver's License required
