Job Summary

B&A is seeking a Computer Engineer to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site position. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.



  • Anticipated Award: September/October 2026

  • Anticipated Start: September/October 2026

  • Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years

  • Salary Range: $130,000 โ€“ $230,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.


Location

  • On-site in Northern Virginia


Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures, integrates, and supports computer systems hardware, operating systems, applications, device drivers, and network infrastructure (routers, switches, network cards, storage, and memory).

  • Diagnoses and resolve system and connectivity issues using analytical troubleshooting.

  • Provides customer-focused technical support and guidance.

  • Communicates technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally for varied audiences.

  • Works independently or within teams, applies basic project management practices to plan, track, and complete tasks, and stays current on emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies.


Education and Experience

  • Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience

  • Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience

  • Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience

  • Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.

  • Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or other related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines.


Security Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years
