Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Grille Server-Part Time" for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Take customers' orders and input them into our POS system
  • Give good customer service according to our core standards
  • The concept of "Five Sensing" is practiced daily by the Server. (Temperature, music level/selection, visual cleanliness throughout the dining room, no sticky tables/chairs and a strong awareness of the selection of menu items and their seasoning)
  • Follows all department policies and complies with all state liquor laws
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitary procedures

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Strong communications skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Basic computer knowledge and cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of Infogenesis & Patron systems helpful
