Role: Desktop Programmer
Duration: 6+ month contract
Location: Klein, TX

Qualifications

ou will Provide application support for OVS including:
Collaborate with business on report configurations using OVS custom language, VB Script, HTML, SQL and Oracle DB, Java Script, Excel/Access, Server Architecture, FlexLm (Licensing), IT management tools (Visual Studio, Toad, TFS)
Troubleshoot and coordinate the resolution of application problems/bugs and enhancements
Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate internal resource or vendor
Implement versioning controls within OVS for multiple developers
Optimize development databases
Develop/document global OVS deployment process Create / update application solution support documentation
Technical Skills
Programming languages/ scripting - JavaScript, VBA, VB.Net, PowerShell
Coding VB.NET, VBA, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL
Databases MSSQL, Oracle
Experience building and maintaining applications in a multiplatform environment
Experience of database connectivity
Experience with working with/managing third party vendors
Good understanding of security issues surrounding applications
