Position Description:
This opportunity is in the Site Engineering organization at Constellation's Limerick Generating Station. The successful candidate(s) will work in one of two sections: Strategic Engineering or Design Engineering. The Strategic Engineering Section is responsible for supporting all aspects of station operation and maintenance. The Strategic Engineering Section is composed of the following branches: Electrical/HVAC Systems (LEPE), Emergency Core Cooling Systems (LEPN) and Balance of Plant Systems (LEPB). The Design Engineering Section is responsible for modifications and design changes as well as identifying and assisting in resolving station technical issues. The Design Engineering Section is composed of the following branches: I&C and Electrical Design (LEDE) and Mechanical Structural Design (LEDM) Coop responsibilities include: Analysis of data using spreadsheet programs, reviewing computerized data, compiling data to support the analysis and preparation of performance indicators, and supporting the preparation of reports for presentation to senior station management. As needed co-ops have the opportunity to support the following activities: system walkdowns, troubleshooting of plant systems and instrumentation, maintenance inspections of equipment, development of preliminary design change packages, research equipment specifications for future applications. EOE M/F/D/V NOTE: Students are asked to provide GPA on resumes. Position requires a 2.8 Cumulative GPA and a 3.0 major GPA. Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work site.
