Job Description:
We are in search of an Application Analyst/ Programmer to assist in automating processes associated with our Point of Sale "POS" system. We need a resource with PERL or Java development experience. An ideal candidate will also have SQL and Oracle experience.
Desired Experience:
Point of Sale "POS" systems experience. At least 3+ years. This is a must.
Programming and scripting experience with PERL or Java
Experience with Oracle or SQL
Previous Agile Project experience ideally across multiple feature and component teams
Complete estimates and work plans in Program Increments (PI) Meetings as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks.
Proven customer driven mindset
Solid critical thinking skills and able to think outside of the box
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
Proven track record with strong communication skills and ability to partner with non-technical resources
Ability to problem solve and investigate issues with some to little detail
Solid understanding of programming concepts and relational data models
