Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Computer Information Systems or closely related field preferred. Master's in computer information systems or related field required; applicant must earn doctorate
within six years of hire. Experience in all areas of computer information systems (application development/programming, networking, cyber security, project management, databases/data analytics, etc.) will be considered. Documented higher education teaching experience and documented research record are preferred. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated higher education teaching experience. Applicants should possess extensive knowledge in computer information systems, higher education teaching using a variety of technologies, and a documented record of higher education teaching performance in both face-to-face and online classes. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Publications or other evidence of research capability are expected.
Job Duties and Other Information
Teach 12 hours of computer information systems courses, maintain office hours, advise/counsel students, serve on various committees and assist in program development. Engage in scholarly activities including research and professional publication. Participate in professional service activities with the college, university, or above.
