CAD Operator Job Description

Envision Luxury Builders is an Arizona-based Landscape Design / Build company looking to hire an Experienced CAD Operator to create detailed pool & landscape drawings. We are currently accepting full-time applicants. Hourly pay, DOE.

Responsibilities include:

·        Understanding of Written and Verbal Instructions

·        Create technical drawings using AutoCAD software

·        Implement feedback from Designers and Operations Manager/Owners

·        Keep up to date with CAD software

·        Meet deadlines and time management

·        Communicate and collaborate with teams as necessary to create clean and accurate computer-generated plans, legends and details

·        Conduct research when necessary

Job Requirements include:

·        Practical experience in AutoCAD software

·        Collaborative spirit and desire to grow, learn and apply for daily use.

·        Knowledge of design and construction, preferably pool & landscape construction

·        Strong communication skills and attention to detail

·        Superb work ethic, take initiative, and the ability to provide and accept feedback

·        Understanding of basic computer software including Microsoft Office

·        Reliability; Able to commit to an 8 hour workday Monday thru Friday.

·        Hands on Experience in Pool & Landscape AutoCAD

Educational Preferences:

·        An Associate’s Degree in Drafting with additional AutoCAD courses

·        Landscape background/experience preferred.

·        A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering or related field is a plus.
