Job description

The primariy responsibility of the Flavoring Operator is to facilitate the coffee flavoring process by moving roasted or ground coffee through the flavoring process and into the packaging process
They will report to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.
  • Prepares the floor inventory to ensure what's needed is available and to prepare for the scheduled production of flavoring process.
  • Review the Punch List against the schedule to ensure schedule compliance in accordance to our Service goals.
  • Prepare the flavoring needed for the scheduled products. Ensure the flavoring is available and staged accordingly.
  • Ensure that the correct coffee is available to be flavored and report any discrepancies to their immediate supervisor.
  • Operator the flavoring equipment within the Standard Operating Procedures using the appropriate amount of flavoring per batch or cycle.
  • Fill the flavored supersacks to capacity based on the total amount of production scheduled and store the product in the appropriate staging areas.
  • Complete the appropriate documentation to report any and all and downtime to reflect idle or mechanical.
  • Communicates with supervisor and packers regarding progress on daily schedule.
  • Reports all nonconforming products to shift supervisor or quality assurance lab.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly working environment by sweeping, mopping, and using an air hose as necessary.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned by management.

  • High School or GED.
  • Experience with operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Forklift/Pallet Jack certification.
  • Ability to work without constant supervision.
  • Ability to multitask.
