ROLE SUMMARY: The Information Technology Intern supports the hotel’s technology infrastructure and digital guest experience within a luxury hospitality environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to hotel systems including guest-facing technology, restaurant POS platforms, and enterprise IT infrastructure. The intern will work closely with IT leadership to ensure seamless system performance that supports both guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide first-line technical support for hotel team members across departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Sales & Events, Finance, and Operations.
Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues across hotel systems.
Support hospitality technology platforms including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, payment devices, and guest Wi-Fi networks.
Assist in the setup, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, POS terminals, tablets, and mobile devices.
ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25–50 lbs as needed (equipment, hardware, etc.).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
