This will be a paid internship and individuals must be able to work 20 hours per week Monday-Friday.
The Summer IT Intern will work closely with our IT team to assist with the preparation, configuration, testing, and deployment of POS systems for our gift shop locations. In addition, the intern will support day-to-day help desk requests and gain hands-on exposure to infrastructure, hardware, and systems administration projects while shadowing experienced IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory, labeling, documentation, and asset tracking of IT equipment.
  • Provide light help desk support for basic user and store technology issues.
  • Help troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues under supervision.
  • Shadow IT staff on systems administration tasks, including server, network, security, and application support.
  • Assist with documentation of processes, equipment setups, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support ongoing IT projects as assigned.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
  • Dependable, organized, and eager to learn.
  • Prior IT coursework, technical program enrollment, or hands-on computer experience is preferred but not required.

  • Basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • IT asset management and documentation.
