Job description

Job Summary:
Supermicro is a Top Tier provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions for Data Center, Cloud Computing, and Enterprise IT. They are seeking a Staff Network Validation Engineer to perform manual testing and create automation for web-based applications on various networking hardware.
Responsibilities:
• Testing front-end GUI.
• Create and maintain automation for Front-End applications
• Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, stress and reliability testing
• Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems
• Document and analyze test data
• Maintain and improve validation test plans and test instructions
• Contribute in the development of test utilities and test script automation
• Support internal and external quality issues and drive to issue resolution
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 12+ years of working knowledge in hardware/networking field is strongly desirable
• Strong in python, and bash scripting
• Strong sense of team work and a good team player, strong communication skills
Preferred:
• Experienced in Front-End web-based, Selenium, Cypress, PlayWright, or the similar is preferred.
• Familiar with Rest API, Postman, curl is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer networking, SONiC, TCP/IP, L2/L3, SDN, and InfiniBand is a plus.
• Familiar with Linux, Windows, and networking
• Power shell scripting is a plus
• Knowledge and experience of server performance benchmarks and tuning is a plus
