Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and implement procedures for processing, assembling, testing, and manufacturing of Teijinโ€™s products.
  • Define production process parameters to ensure product compliance with customer specifications.
  • Create documentation for production support and data collection.
  • Participate in the approval of new product designs, tooling, and processes for production.
  • Maintain an openโ€‘items tracking system for new products.
  • Attend and coordinate tooling tryouts at vendors and the manufacturing facility.
  • Assist in obtaining PSW approvals for new products.
  • Continuously improve processes using synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance labor efficiency and quality.
  • Apply computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a professional, objective, and collaborative demeanor and actively participate in team projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
