Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: N. Cincinnati, Ohio
Type: Direct Hire
Work Model: Onsite
Responsibilities
• Support manufacturing processes by evaluating and improving capabilities, scheduling, specifications, and quality standards
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing efficiencies and implement improvements
• Input accurate data into ERP management system, manage routings and bill of materials
• Support deployment of capital equipment and standardize production processes
• Prepare process documentation, including changes, additions, and modifications for production readiness
• Design lean manufacturing layouts, utilize flow, Kanban, and 5S methodologies for process improvements
• Engage with customers on manufacturability enhancements and interface with engineering and production staff
• Design, implement, and validate tooling and fixturing needs
• Communicate daily operational information, trends, and concerns
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues raised during production
Requirements
• Proficient with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, welding, and machining
• Fixture design experience required
• Familiarity with lean tools and techniques for continuous improvement
• Ability to interpret assembly and part drawings (metric and standard)
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) practices
• Skilled in MS Office applications
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to work on the shop floor and lift up to 15 pounds
