Title - Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)
Location - Benson, Minnesota
Experience - 2 to 5 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, tooling implementation, production optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, strong project management abilities, and proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Creo.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (required)
  • 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools-Creo is mandatory
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update manufacturing process documentation, including tooling lists, setup requirements, and standard work instructions
  • Define tooling, fixturing, and material-handling requirements (carts, trolleys, fixtures, etc.)
  • Collaborate with tool vendors to specify, procure, or modify necessary tooling and fixtures
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing process flows with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement
  • Plan assembly processes and support production planning & control
  • Perform direct labor studies, establish labor standards, and improve workstation layout using accepted engineering methods
  • Support material flow optimization and process standardization
  • Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and eliminate unnecessary costs while promoting operational efficiency
  • Coordinate daily project follow-ups and interact with internal teams and customers
  • Prepare detailed project status reports, analyze trends, and recommend actionable improvements
