Silver Star Construction is seeking a Senior CAD Tech. Our employee-owned company is seeking an experienced CAD Tech, to join our team for our projects in various locations throughout the OKC Metro and surrounding areas. Silver Star Construction is seeking an individual that aligns with our core values (Safety, Dependability, Relationships, Innovation, and Quality) and adheres to them daily.
Job Description
    • Use computer-aided drafting software such as Auto-Cad, Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, or other similar software
    • Produce 3D Models for dirt and paving for highways, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments
    • Take-off quantities for dirt and paving
    • Produce cut/fill sheets
    • Ability to draft ALTA/NSPS Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-built Surveys
    • Have knowledge of flood plains, data collection, GPS surveying and State Plane Coordinate Systems
    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, design teams and clients.

Make necessary drawing and model changes based on design revisions
Position Requirements
    • ODOT experience is highly recommended
    • Knowledgeable in 3D models, take-offs, boundary surveys, ATLA/NSPS surveys and contouring.
    • Knowledge of surveying aspects pertaining to highways developments, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments.
    • Proficient in file management and record keeping
    • Proficient mathematical and computer skills
    • Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role
    • Must be highly motivated, organized, and possess a strong positive worth ethic
    • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
    • Highly detail oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
    • Education - High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent work experience
