Responsibilities:

  •  Design and draft detailed plans, layouts, and specifications using CAD software.
  •  Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve product designs, considering functional requirements and manufacturing constraints.
  •  Create 2D and 3D models of products, incorporating accurate dimensions, materials, and finishes.
  •  Generate technical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation for fabrication and installation purposes.
  •  Conduct thorough reviews of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and customer specifications.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

  •  Maintain CAD libraries, templates, and documentation to support design consistency and standardization.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, Draftsman, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials used in the millwork industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate conceptual ideas into accurate and precise technical drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues effectively.
  • Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
