Job description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide general IT technical and administrative support, which may include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting personal desktop computers and printers, workstation setup, Remote Desktop Services (RDS) server/Virtual Private Network (VPN) maintenance, internet and phone connectivity, software updates, Excel or other software related inquiries such as Avalara, Doclink and Starship.
• Provide technical and administrative support for companies Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, currently Sage 300, which may include, but is not limited to, creating inventory part numbers and bills of material (BOMs), maintaining and updating customer price lists, troubleshooting plant accounting, modifying and creating SAGE Business Intelligence reports and maintaining standardization of data entries.
• Provide technical and administrative support for both company webstores, which may include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting, ensuring data consistency, organizing customer groups/items/price lists, posting updates to items, marketing, other, and adjustments.
• Aid in the ongoing identification, conversion, integration and training of new or automated processes related to companies Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system. Create new standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation as required.
• Provide manufacturing accounting and inventory support, which may include, but is not limited to, manufacturing accounting and data entry, scanning or sorting files in Doclink, raw material transfer/receiving and inventory cycle counts in key areas.
• Identify and document written procedures related to IT administration, accounting (A/R and A/P) and order processing as needed.

Job Description

• Identify and recommend any updates to the current IT system that can improve performance and/or process efficiency.
• Prepare analytical reports related to inventory, purchasing, sales and trends upon request.
• Other duties and actions as needed and designated by the CFO.

JOB INTERFACE
This position may interact with all necessary departments to answer questions regarding company IT & ERP system, computer hardware & software, servers, security, inventory and manufacturing accounting, including outside vendors, office administration, customer service, shipping department, manufacturing plant supervisors, lead warehouseman, accounting department and all laboratories. This position may also interact with Laurie Darmody, site manager at Great Lakes IPM, for questions related to manufacturing, inventory accounting and IT.
