Our Early Development team focuses on Phase I and IB trials which represent the first practical tests of a compound’s clinical relevance and commercial viability. They are the culmination of years or even decades of research. Discover Impactful Work:

As a Research Lab Tech, you will perform laboratory procedures such as blood harvesting and urine monitoring according to protocol as assigned. You will be responsible for working with coordinators to assure the smooth and orderly flow of procedures in the Clinics, Lab and Urine Monitoring areas.

A day in the Life:

  • Collects and harvest plasma, serum, and all other required laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications.
  • Monitors the collection of urine and/or fecal specimens from subjects participating in studies.
  • Completes all required study documents and might need to be trained on special equipment per protocol.
  • Assures that all procedures and processing areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Technical positions may require a certificate

Experience

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
  • In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Training Requirement: All new employees must complete a mandatory training period during the 1st shift (typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) for the first month of employment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the department schedule.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requests and cover shifts on short notice is essential.
  • Willingness to rotate shifts and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
