    Could you be our next Lab Assistant, Outreach at Mirmont (Mobile Department)?
    Why work as a Outreach Lab Assistant with Main Line Health?
    Be on the Cutting Edge! As the Outreach Lab Assistant, you will collect routine, STAT and other requested blood samples from multiple long-term care facilities. These specimens are then delivered and processed at the Main Line Health Lab. Are you also a savvy multitasker? Being an Outreach Lab Assistant, you must be able to balance multiple priorities and help manage heavy traffic flow while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Position: Lab Assistant, Outreach (Part-time 20 hours per week)- This role will travel to Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia Counties.
Shift: 5am-9am; 6am-10am(flexible) M-F, rotating weekends (on calls 7am-6pm, 6am at Sat at Mirmont)
Experience:
2 years lab experience required
Experience in an anatomic or clinical laboratory preferred.
Ability to work in more than 1 section of the lab preferred
Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.
Licensures/Certifications:
Valid driver's license and insured automobile, if appropriate
MA or related preferred
Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods
