Job Title: Manufacturing Lab TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Liquids and Powder Compounding Technician to support manufacturing operations at our Eldersburg facility. This role is responsible for accurately weighing, mixing, and compounding liquid and powdered materials in accordance with established formulas, quality standards, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in a production environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail, consistency, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Accurately weigh, measure, and compound liquid and powdered materials according to approved formulas and batch records.
- Operate and clean mixing, blending, and compounding equipment.
- Prepare raw materials and stage ingredients for production runs.
- Document batch data, measurements, and production outcomes in accordance with GMP and internal SOPs.
- Perform quality checks to ensure product consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory control, including recording material usage and reporting shortages.
- Follow all company policies related to safety, quality, and attendance.
- Support other production tasks as needed.
Essential Skills- Experience in GMP, chemical compounding, and distillation processes.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, chemical formulation, and batch record documentation.
- Proficiency in food chemistry, food science, lab documentation, production, chemical testing, quality control, blending, and mixing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 1+ years of experience in liquids and powders compounding (training available).
- Ability to use various computer software including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Sage ERP.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Motivated to achieve results.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a clean room setting adhering to GMP standards. The company offers great benefits and work-life balance if hired permanently, with closures for the last one to two weeks of the year.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
