Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst for a contract position in Columbia, MD. The role involves analyzing and programming applications, providing customer support, and managing IT systems and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Researching and analyzing software products that satisfy agency use and customer expectations. Documenting and presenting recommended findings to management.
• Monitoring, assisting and resolving customer support through the help desk by phone, in person, or remote session in a timely and friendly manner.
• Creating and deploying computer images.
• Assist managers to monitor and comply with State data security requirements.
• Coordinate with management and stakeholders on installation and repair of equipment, user training, and workstation management.
• Develop and execute regular reports as requested and required.
• Create and deliver training to system users and/or system support technicians as needed.
• Management and support of computer lab.
• Create clear, concise documentation of system updates, project work assigned, and troubleshooting processes as requested.
• After-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
• Must have three (3) years of computer experience in assignments of a technical nature working under close supervision and direction.
• At least one (1) year of experience in analyzing and programming applications on large-scale or mid-tier computers (or LAN-based) with a minimum of one (1) year of design and programming of moderately complex IT systems.
• Researching and analyzing software products that satisfy agency use and customer expectations. Documenting and presenting recommended findings to management.
• Monitoring, assisting and resolving customer support through the help desk by phone, in person, or remote session in a timely and friendly manner.
• Creating and deploying computer images.
