Job Description Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Technology in the Department of Education is accountable for the supervision and maintenance of the Innovation Studio, mobile laptop computers, tablets, and all related technology needs as well as other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Schedule technology requests for Innovation Studio, laptops, tablets, recording equipment and other devices
-Oversee student use of laptop computers, tablets, and other technology equipment.
-Oversee use of equipment in Innovation Studio
-Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all technology including software applications and troubleshooting various issues as they arise.
-Responsible for scheduling, inventory, and maintenance of all technology equipment in the Department of Education.
-Work with faculty and staff to manage technology and technology related tasks.
-Manage software acquisition including record maintenance, training materials, and ordering of products.
-Work with relevant persons to train faculty and students to use various computer applications.
-Facilitate job activities of computer lab student workers.
-Work with Office of Technology and other appropriate University personnel
-Assist faculty and students with technology, in classrooms when appropriate.
-Assist faculty and staff to update DOE social media and information on DOE websites and Blackboard as needed.
-Other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required and must be enrolled and maintain academic excellence in one of Lewis University's graduate programs. Must possess computer expertise, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
