GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager of Business Systems provides leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to a team of Systems Analysts supporting North America logistics operations, with a primary focus on West Coast locations including Tijuana, Vancouver, and Instruments. This role is responsible for ensuring stable day-to-day system support, driving application enhancements, and enabling future ERP and automation initiatives. 

The Sr. Manager partners closely with business leaders to translate operational needs into high-quality system solutions and serves as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for SAP systems supporting logistics distribution, warehouse operations, and planning. This role leads requirements gathering, functional design, testing, and deployment activities while driving continuous improvement through structured analysis and process optimization. 

 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the North America support team through ticket management and issue resolution, ensuring business continuity. 
  • Develop deep knowledge of logistics, warehouse, and planning business processes, translating business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements. 
  • Effectively communicate and advocate for recommended solutions, fostering alignment and buy-in across both business and technical stakeholders. 
  • Direct end-to-end business requirements activities, including analysis, documentation, validation, and communication of requirements. 
  • Serve as the SAP functional SME for distribution and warehouse operations, acting as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. 
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and risks are identified and mitigated. 
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including functional specifications, change requests, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, track milestones and deliverables, and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery. 
  • Contribute to project estimation, planning, and implementation schedules.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • 2+ years of team management 
  • 7+ years Information Systems/Business experience. 
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft BC, SAP ERP and WMS (SAP DWM preferred) 
  • Strong Analytical skills (SQL, DB management) 
  • Critical thinking to identify opportunities with existing and new business processes.  
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes. 
  • Strong voice of reason and knows challenge the status quo. 
  • Experience with collecting requirements and implementation details. 
  • Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, visual designs, and testing. 
  • Clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with databases, ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries to assist in data research.  
  • Experience developing AI tools  
  • Experience with RPA and task automation tools (ex. UiPath) 
  • Experience utilizing requirements, best practices, and standards in fashion industry
