Position Summary:
Performs phlebotomy, processes patient specimens and performs patient registration. Utilizes Laboratory computer system. Prepares specimens to be sent to reference laboratories. Maintains department inventory and operates and maintains equipment. Performs various clerical duties. Adheres to patient identification, laboratory safety, and department policies and procedures. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.
