Job description

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for Implementing, maintaining, and supporting LCS business systems used by various stakeholders across the organization. This position works with moderately complex areas of the system and supports end users as a subject matter expert. This position is also responsible for participating in complex projects and acting as a lead on smaller projects. This position reports to a Manager or Director in IT.

What You'll Do:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert, analyze and configure clinical/business systems solutions to align with business requirements and objectives. 
  • Partner with system users to gather and analyze user requirements, assess feasibility and impact of system changes, and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency. 
  • Provide technical expertise and support for clinical/business systems, including troubleshooting issues, implementing system changes, and managing system upgrades. 
  • Working from a ticketing system, review and troubleshoot issues, enter data changes as needed in the system, and provide resolution to end users while maintaining excellent customer service and meeting service level requirements. Escalate complex issues to senior level staff as needed. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Participate in system testing activities, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and overseeing user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of system changes. 
  • Lead end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to promote system adoption and proficiency. 
  • Serve as a project lead on small projects. Create a project plan, identify training and communication needs, and lead stakeholders through execution of changes.  
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, and system updates to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • May work directly with vendors to troubleshoot or monitor issues and resolution.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience required.  
  • 3-5 years of related experience required, with direct business systems experience preferred. 
  • EHR or PCC experience a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand technical documents is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
  • Business specific programming language preferred.
